GMI Farms established in 1994, they become a main fruit grower and exporter in South Africa. By the time, framers started to apply the idea of switching from cheaper conventional pesticides into using more expensive but environmentally friendly growing and harvesting techniques.
GMI Farms took the opportunity of harvesting and exporting their farmers produce worldwide, to become one of the first companies to be established in the newly deregulated environment in 1994.
Now GMI Farms is in Simondium near Paarl in Western Cape Province of South Africa and has more than 25 years of experience in the agricultural field. Its main produces including Stone fruits, Apples, Pears, Citrus, Grapes, and Persimmons.
