Gebr. Jansen Farms has been established since 1994. The business was passed on from generations to generations, where once the grandfather had founded their Farms in etten-leur. They started cultivating horticultural products such as lettuce, endive, spinach, Chinese cabbage, and leek alongside the dairy farm for the fresh market.
Eventually, the farm continued to grow and the entire dairy herd was sold in 1998, after which the brothers started to focus entirely on open ground horticulture and soon afterward, they started to fully specialize in leek cultivation.
