Kor Yumurta was founded in 1982, they entered the chicken meat and egg sector by reflecting their knowledge and experience accumulated in their educational life to the commercial area. The establishment of their farm, which also provided a basis for the rise of the brand of Kor Egg, played an important role in meeting the organic chicken and organic egg needs in the country.
Kor Yumurta takes into consideration many criteria while creating their farms. The environmental factor which is one of the basic conditions of organic production plays a big role in determining poultry areas. In terms of biosafety, production farms are distributed in three different locations.
Organic eggs are produced in İzmir Bayındır’s Çınardibi village which is called the mountain location with 13 producers in total. In the pine forests, the poultry houses located in a clean environment have been mobilized to produce organic eggs and have promoted and started organic production which is suitable for the ecological conditions of the region.
